Integrated working involves everyone who works with children and young people, part or all of the time; whether employed, self-employed or in a voluntary capacity. If you are a Health Visitor, Teacher, Youth Worker, Voluntary sector Worker, Connexions Worker, Children's Centre Worker, Social Worker or any other member of the Children's Workforce engaging with the 0-18 age range, integrated working concerns you. Integrated working is at the centre of making a real difference to the lives of children, young people, and their families. It is a central part of the Every Child Matters agenda.
The multi-agency approach involves agencies working together. Effective interventions depend on professionals developing working relationships which are sympathetic to each other’s legal responsibilities, thresholds, agency purposes and procedures, respective roles and agency capacities.
These web pages have been designed to enable everyone who works with Children & Young People in Bournemouth to access information and download documents and forms that are relevant to our work. Please explore the tabs to the left of the screen to find what you want.
PLEASE, if you have any comments on our pages, think something is missing or have any ideas about its development, let us know. Contact Alan Farmer on 01202 456265 or email: alan.farmer@bournemouth.gov.uk
